I have been a teacher at Pepin Area School since 2000 and have proudly served as an administrator since 2015. My husband, Jim, and I are the proud parents of four sons, and one daughter-in-law. In addition, I have added a new title to my name, Grandma! As a family, we enjoy playing and watching sports, gardening, spending time with our animals, and helping others.
I grew up on a dairy farm in central Minnesota, where I learned to value the close-knit community that a small school creates. This experience shaped my desire to work in a small school environment after completing my degree. I love the opportunities to learn, grow, and build meaningful relationships in this kind of atmosphere—it truly is where my heart belongs.
At Pepin, we offer a rich, nurturing, and caring learning environment. Our teachers and staff are committed to knowing each student well. You won’t find a more dedicated or knowledgeable team. Our community is incredibly supportive and proud of our small but mighty school.
